Guided Java 11 OCP certification training

The program is offered for three entry levels, each having their own length of the program, being 10, 15 or 20 days with one training day per week. The program is thus offered in courses for groups of a certain entry level. These groups can have a maximum size of ten (10) participants, ensuring a good balance between sufficient attention and time for each trainee and effectiveness in planning and execution

Training outline

Each group has its own training program varying in intensity and duration, but each consisting of the following key elements:

  1. Determination of the appropriate entrylevel with an semi online assessment

  2. A weekly training session during a period of 20, 15 and 10 weeks respectively, for participants with different entry levels.

  3. Training consisting of:

    • virtual classroom sessions with hands-on training assignments
    • For Java 11: the Java 11 training book ‘OCP Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer Complete Study Guide: Exam 1z0-815, Exam 1z0-816, and Exam 1z0-817’
    • sheets that are being used in the training sessions
    • practice assignments as homework
    • Enthuware practice exams (similar to the certification exams)
    • video’s about specific concepts

  4. Access to a weekly consulting hour hosted by the trainer.

  5. Bi-weekly progress tests using Enthuware.

  6. Halfway evaluation of the progress made by the trainee.

  7. Evaluation session after the certification exam took place,determining possible future training topics and a personal career advice.

This extensive training is a combination of weekly classrooms sessions, homework assignments, personal guidance and online self paced study content

Important information

Dates are provisional. OpenValue puts together groups of trainees with a comparable level and find the optimal dates for the sessions together with the group.

A minimum of 5 participants per group is required before an instance of this training will take place.
